Croatia is positioned at the top of Group H in the group stages of the 2016 Euro’s as they remain undefeated after having claimed triumphs over Malta, Bulgaria, Azerbaijan and forced a draw when facing off with Italy.
It’s no doubt whatsoever that it has been a fairly impressive campaign for the Croatian team but not everything has been perfect for the team which is being led by NikoKovac as they have encountered a number of setbacks along the way.
One of the main problems that the Croatian side has faced was concerning the recent injury that Luca Modric sustained as the midfielder picked up a thigh injury during the 2016 Euro’s qualifiers when playing against Italy on November 16 of 2014.
This thigh injury has forced the Real Madrid midfielder on being unable to play for 3 months and according to the manager of the Croatian national football team, NikoKovac said that this injury was caused by the big amount of matches that Modric has been recently.
