Real Madrid are expected to go big in the 2023 summer transfer window as they look to move on from ageing stars such as Karim Benzema, Luka Modric and Toni Kroos. The midfield position remains one of the key areas where they need to add more quality, especially with Modric and Kroos’ contracts expiring at the end of the season. To that end, the club continue to keep an eye on Jude Bellingham. According to Madrid Xtra, the Borussia Dortmund starlet remains Real Madrid’s number one target ahead of the next summer transfer window. They have been keeping close tabs on the midfielder and could make a move for him next year.

The report from Madrid Xtra suggests Real Madrid will soon kickstart talks with Dortmund over a move for Bellingham. They are aware of the youngster’s hefty valuation, so the club will require some excellent makeweights if they are to afford the player. Not to mention, clubs from the Premier League are expected to go after Bellingham as well, with Liverpool among the teams interested in his services. With that in mind, it will be interesting to see what the future holds for the 19-year-old next year.
