BUNDESLIGA WONDERKID REMAINS MADRID’S NUMBER ONE TARGET

Real Madrid are expected to go big in the 2023 summer transfer window as they look to move on from ageing stars such as Karim Benzema, Luka Modric and Toni Kroos. The midfield position remains one of the key areas where they need to add more quality, especially with Modric and Kroos’ contracts expiring at the end of the season. To that end, the club continue to keep an eye on Jude Bellingham. According to Madrid Xtra, the Borussia Dortmund starlet remains Real Madrid’s number one target ahead of the next summer transfer window. They have been keeping close tabs on the midfielder and could make a move for him next year.

Despite missing out on the Kopa Trophy in the Ballon d’Or gala, Bellingham is regarded as one of the most talented young midfielders in world football. At the age of just 19, the Englishman has featured in over 100 competitive matches for Dortmund. He has also become a leading figure at the club, notably captaining the Dortmund side in the Champions League earlier this season. Bellingham’s quality, leadership and talent have not gone unnoticed, with Real Madrid more than willing to splash the cash on him in the coming summer.
